Up Helly Aa Grand Spectacle
Just over a week to go to until Up Helly Aa 2017! This spectacular fire festival is held annually in Lerwick, Shetland, on the last Tuesday in January.
I took the photo above during the 2015 procession, showing the spectacle of hundreds of torch-bearing guizers marching through the streets of Lerwick, with Lerwick Town Hall in the background flying the red raven banner.
