Shetland Nature
I’ve just designed & built a new website for Shetland Nature (https://www.shetlandnature.net), operated by Shetland wildlife expert Brydon Thomason. The site has details of the many holidays and tours that Shetland Nature offer, as well as info about the tour leaders and a news blog. What I hope the site conveys most though is Brydon’s friendly nature and his incredible enthusiasm for his subject.
I was able to get the site launched just in time for the start of Simon King’s Shetland Diaries - a three part series, the first hour of which aired last night on BBC2. You can watch it online on the BBC iPlayer at https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qnw1f/Simon_Kings_Shetland_Diaries_Episode_1/ (available to watch online until February 25th). The series focuses on the wildlife of Shetland and Simon’s time living here with his family. The first episode was really a great advert for Shetland - and featured some fantastic footage of the kind of authentic wildlife encounters to be had here. Next episode 11th February 8pm BBC2.
